What It Does

The Business Health Score gives you a single, reliable measure of your company's financial wellbeing — updated every month. Think of it as a health check for your business finances: not just one metric in isolation, but six different dimensions combined into a clear, comparable score between 0 and 100.
The score is calibrated against UK sector averages, so you're not just comparing yourself to an abstract benchmark — you're seeing how your business compares to similar businesses in your industry. A score of 72 in professional services means something different to a score of 72 in retail, and the system accounts for this.
Month-on-month trend data is just as important as the score itself. A business scoring 65 but trending upwards each month is in a fundamentally different position than one scoring 75 but declining. The Health Score report includes a 6-month trend line for your overall score and each sub-dimension — so you can see the direction of travel, not just where you stand today.
Each month's report also includes a prioritised list of action items: the two or three things that, if addressed, would have the greatest positive impact on your score in the coming month.
